Ingredients
8 ounces Pennsylvania Dutch Fine Egg Noodles
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 cup diced ham
2 cups milk
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
1/4 cup frozen peas
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
Cook noodles according to package directions.
Melt margarine in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add ham; cook, stirring, 1 minute. Stir in milk, cornstarch, salt, pepper and nutmeg; add peas. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
Toss with noodles. If desired, serve with additional Parmesan cheese.
